North Shore Transitional

Lauren and her team worked together with JMD Builders on this project for a couple who were downsizing and moving to a new neighborhood to be near their family. Their most pressing request was for the home to allow them to entertain and accommodate large gatherings. With inspiration from the clients’ art collection, their sophisticated eye, and appreciation for design, the team gutted the entire home to update it architecturally and highlight the luxurious materials we proceeded to use throughout the entire home, such as raw silk wall coverings, silver-leaf furniture, and sumptuous exotic woods. Lauren custom designed much of the furniture to reflect the clients’ passion for rich, deep, detailed textures.

“It was a true joy to have the opportunity to not only update this existing home but to work with the client in creating bespoke furniture pieces and built-ins that range in style from French Deco-Inspired pieces to modern gray Cerused wood.” ~ L.C.
