North Shore Modern

The clients, a cool couple who love to entertain, retained Lauren and her team to renovate their home’s entire ground floor and upstairs master bath (not shown) to be in keeping with the clients’ chic aesthetic. Together, they transformed their traditional dining room into a lounge with a steel glass and walnut bar. Meanwhile the sitting room was transformed, with sheer draperies at the entrance for privacy and a touch of drama. Inside, Lauren designed custom built-ins, and used sumptuous textiles and leather throughout to stage the classic modern furniture, great art collection, and elegant Lalique pieces. The husband, who has an affinity for construction, played a major role in the renovation process, particularly the kitchen, which is open plan to allow for natural lighting to flow through and is neighbored by a cozy family room that flows off of it.
